Event in Boise, Idaho, will look at major trends impacting CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbon refrigeration.
The North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) will hold a free workshop May 3 in Boise, Idaho, on the future of refrigerant use in the food retail industry.
The focus will be on major trends impacting CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbon refrigeration, including: first cost, return on investment and incentives; energy use and other operating costs; new technologies; codes and standards; government policy and regulation; and service technician training and availability.
The workshop, hosted by the Idaho Department of EnvironmentalQuality, is designed for service contractors and food retailers from large chains to small independents and convenience stores.
